Our Pipeline Operator Qualification (OQ) courses are designed to assist natural gas Distribution and Pipeline operators and their Contractor Partners met the requirements of the DOT Operator Qualification Rule 49 CFR 192 Subpart N. The OQ Rule requires pipeline operators to develop and maintain a written qualification program for individuals performing covered tasks on pipeline facilities.  The DOT also requires the Contractor Partners that work for pipeline operators to qualify their personnel on covered tasks.

The ASME B31Q Covered Tasks are aligned with the ASME-compliant courses and checklists. The course and checklist titles follow the ASME tasks numbering structure.  In addition to the ASME-based courses, Users will find general-purpose Technical Training courses and operator qualification courses listed by category based on typical operational topics.   These courses may touch on one or more covered tasks.
